
CHS will be on a different bell schedule tomorrow for our Student Faculty Volleyball Game. Students who wish to check out before the game must bring a parent note to the front office by 8:00AM or the parent must come to CHS to check the student out. No checkouts after 1:25PM.

Students & Parents, The railroad crossing at N. Elm and Jefferson Rd/Homer Rd will be closed tomorrow (Friday, March 8th) starting at 7:00 AM. If this is the route you take to school, please make alternate plans to avoid being tardy.

Norfolk Southern Rail notified the City of Commerce that the railroad crossing (highlighted in yellow) at N Elm and Homer/Jefferson Rd will be closed for repair /repaving from Friday morning at 7am until Saturday morning at 8am. Broad Street and Elm Street will be open (just the crossing will be closed) Please plan for delays with traffic. Thank you for your patience.

The Commerce Youth Leadership Council February meeting was with the GIS department of the City of Commerce. Youth Council members learned about mapping, documenting, and locating assets of the city. The Youth Leadership Council was introduced to utility mapping, water lines, sewer lines and cemetery mapping. The members of the council had up close training with the drones of the city. The Youth Leadership Council is an appointment of Commerce High School students by Mayor Clark Hill that meet monthly to experience careers of the city.

Cpl. Dunbar would like to thank the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety and the Children and Parent Resource Group for visiting Commerce High School and teaching our seniors and juniors about distracted driving, drunk driving, and safe driving through a 3D multi-sensory program. You may access the TINA survey by using your web browser. Open your web browser and type in the URL (web address) as listed http://www.owledu.com/commercecity
The login screen for the TINA software will appear. Your Username is: xxxPARENT where xxx is the abbreviation for your school.
Commerce Elementary School: CESParent
Commerce Primary School: CPSParent
Commerce Middle School: CMSParent
Commerce High School: CHSParent
(Example. A Parent at Commerce High School would have a username of CHSParent.)
Your Password is: TINA
Please enter the Username and Password and press the [Log On] button. After you log in correctly, you will see the name of the survey that needs to be taken. To complete the survey, simply click on the [Take Survey] button by the survey.
Proceed through the survey answering the questions as appropriate.
When you have finished answering this survey, you should click on the [Save] button at the bottom of the screen.
After saving, please press the [Exit] button to log out. This will ensure that your survey answers are recorded.
