In addition, Commerce City Schools will be providing basic school supplies for all students in grades Pre-K through 12th grade. On behalf of the Commerce City Schools Board of Education, I would like to take this time to inform our parents that at the July board meeting, our Board of Education approved the recommendation to provide the basic school supplies for all children in our school district. We know that the current economic outlook for all families is challenging to navigate at times, and we as a school system want to try and ease the financial burden. We have compiled a list of the basic supplies needed for your student and have placed a group order for all of our students. The supplies will be delivered to each school and distributed to each teacher for their classrooms. We have many local churches and other organizations that will be doing back to school events where they will provide free school supplies, and I would encourage you to attend these events as well.

Reminder about SENIOR ADS for the Fall Football Sports Program. The deadline is fast approaching for reserving your senior ad. Ads are full page color, full page black & white, and half page black & white. All seniors in fall sports and the marching band are invited to take out a senior ad. Fill out the form to reserve your spot. All photos and payment are due by July 20th on picture day.

Congratulations to Madelyn Ausborn, Senior Cheerleader, for being selected as one of the top 31 Cheerleaders in Division A-3A. Madelyn will compete with the top cheerleaders in her division at Columbus State University on August 3rd.

CHS Honors Day will be held on Friday, May 17th at 8:30 AM in the CHS Gym. All seniors must be present. Any underclassmen receiving awards will be notified through school email on Monday, May 13th.
Parents of Rising 9th Graders, please follow the QR code to sign your student up for Summer Health & PE if you have not done so already. If you can't remember if you have already signed up, you may complete the form again.
CHS Parents, Student course requests for the 2024-2025 school year are being sent home with students today. Please look over these course requests with your student. Students can make changes to course requests during their lunch next week, May 6th-10th, in Student Services.
CHS Students, please see the attached flyer for a free summer camp opportunity through UGA for students interested in cybersecurity. There are a limited number of spots. Transportation is provided. Students can stop by CHS Student Services to sign up.
