Dear Parents:

Greetings to you on behalf of the Commerce High School Faculty and Staff. We hope everything is going well for you and that this will be a good school year for your family.

We earnestly seek your cooperation and assistance as we attempt to provide a quality education for all of our students.

While I believe that a student’s own effort is the one most important factor in determining success, I also know that you can be instrumental in seeing that your child gives his/her best effort throughout the year. Please communicate with your child’s teachers as often as you desire through e-mail, phone calls, or personal conferences.

Today, many teenagers are content if their parents never ask them anything about school. However, let me encourage you to communicate regularly with your child about his/her schoolwork or behavior. Also, please call the school office to make appointments with teachers as often as you feel the need to do so.

Our school motto is: “Students, Parents, Teachers: Together we can make good things happen.” I sincerely believe this and I hope you do also.

Please let me know if you need my assistance.

Sincerely,
William Smith, Principal
