The Commerce High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) attended the Region Leadership Conference (RLC) at Madison County High School on January 26.  FBLA members attended leadership workshops and competed in several events.  Mrs. kathy Cobb, FBLA Adviser is very proud of how well her students did in their individual competitive events.  Most of the events had anywhere from 35-45 students competing and Commerce High School represented themselves superiorly.

Students placing in the top ten were:

The team of Sara Ingram, Edson Martinez, and Nelson Jiang placing 1st in Graphic Design
The team of Channing Martin and Maggie Hill placing 3rd in Graphic Design
Sara Ingram placing 3rd in Word Processing
Jessica Wood placing 6th in Intro to Business Communications
Heaven Roebuck placing 6th in Job Interview
Neslon Jiang placing 6th in Business math Calculations
Trista Morris, also competed in Intro to Business Communications and placed 14th.

These FBLA members will be moving on to State Competition in Athens on March 12-14.  Congratulations to all the FBLA members!
